About the Project
Above Lake Ägeri, in Erlimatt, this modern apartment sits in a multi-family house with a wonderful view across the entire region. As part of a comprehensive renovation, the whole apartment was redesigned – with a new kitchen, new bathrooms and custom-made built-in wardrobes. A central element of the transformation: our oak floor in an elegant chevron pattern.
The project was designed by Niedermann Walti Architekten of Zurich, a practice that stands for a holistic architectural approach, combining exterior and interior design to create individual, personal living spaces. This philosophy is particularly evident in this apartment on Lake Ägeri: from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the built-in wardrobes, every detail was carefully coordinated.
The floor is the Belgiqa OAK SIX 0604 Soft Taupe, laid in a 140 x 660 mm format. The warm, taupe tone and fine grain of the oak give the rooms a calm, high-quality presence, while the chevron pattern brings a dynamic yet timeless look. Combined with the natural light and the view of the lake, the floor comes into its own and rounds off the apartment’s cohesive overall concept.
We particularly enjoy working with Belgiqa floors – the quality of the wood, the care in craftsmanship and the timeless aesthetic of the collections convince us again and again. This project is another beautiful example of how thoughtful design and high-quality materials together create a cohesive, personal home.
