Mutina was born out of a natural desire to encourage leading designers to bring their ideas into the world of ceramic cladding materials for the first time. Thanks to this vision, the brand set out on an entirely new path in 2005, with the goal of challenging the rules of ceramics – not only in terms of size, texture and composition, but also in terms of creativity and a spirit of experimentation.

Hägni sees itself as a facility services company that aims to impress its clients from A to Z with top-level performance. When Remo Hägni set off on his skateboard in 1981, cleaning bucket in hand, to visit his first client – a boutique in Zurich's Niederdorf district – he vowed to clean the shop windows more thoroughly than his predecessor had. Remo Hägni kept his word and won the client over from the very start.
