Hochwert Library at Zurich Design Weeks 2026

There are moments when materials stop being mere samples — and start telling a story. That's exactly what awaits you from September 17 to 27, 2026, as part of Zurich Design Weeks, when our material library becomes part of the "The Living Loft" program.

We're delighted to present our material selection in a space that embodies exactly what Hochwert Library stands for: texture, colour, and craft in lively interplay — not as a static display, but as an experience meant to be touched, compared, and discovered.

Curated with care

The selection of our samples for "The Living Loft" was entrusted to ArchStudio, the Zurich-based architecture and interior studio founded in 1989. With a trained eye for space, materiality, and atmosphere, they've drawn from our library the surfaces and textures that give this loft its distinct character. It's this careful curation that turns a collection of samples into a coherent story.

Furniture that carries the space

Set within this curated environment are pieces from Studio Piet Boon and Linteloo — two names synonymous with timeless elegance, quiet lines, and considered materiality. Together with the material worlds of Hochwert Library, they create a space where furniture, colour, and surface complement one another, letting visitors experience first-hand how a thoughtful material concept can truly bring a room to life.

A place to linger

"The Living Loft" isn't a conventional showroom — it's an invitation to slow down. Among fabrics, stone surfaces, and wood tones, you can trace how materials enter into dialogue with one another, and how individual elements come together as a coherent whole.
